This program builds a solid foundation for your Thai massage practice through deliberate repetition and real-world application:
- First 2 weeks: Beginner's course - learn essential theory and techniques
- Next 2 weeks: Repeat the beginner's course - deepen understanding and refine techniques
- Final week: Field work - practice under supervision with actual Thai persons coming for a treatment.
- You'll also learn the traditional art of making and applying herbal balls, adding therapeutic value to your practice.

The Summer Residency is a Once a Year Event.
In 2026, the residency is running
from 29 June to 4 September.
- Weeks 1-4: Fundamental training (beginner's course twice)
- Week 5: Meditation retreat at Wat Pa Pae (3 days)
- Week 6: Bridging course with a teacher experienced in meditation
- Weeks 7- 8: Advanced techniques (side position + advanced stretches)

❝ There are many schools to choose from for Thai massage in Chiang Mai, but I couldn't recommend THIS school more. Being in the roots of the lineage from the transmission of Asokananda is a such an authentic experience, and the teachers are all so masterful! I took the 8 week combo course blending the beginner Thai massage course with bridging into being a practitioner, advanced stretches and side lying position, herbal compress making and use, and field work with overseeing. As a yoga teacher and a Thai massage practitioner already and complete enthusiast, I'd recommend any friend or student of mine to attend this school without hesitation!!!
